ABOUT ME:
As a bilingual (Spanish and English) Licensed Social Worker, I am aware of the impact culture influences in one’s life. In therapy, I strive to create a safe, compassionate, non-judgemental and supportive environment. I tailored my therapeutic approach unique to each person utilizing an eclectic, holistic and trauma-informed approach. I’ve experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I specialize in anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, grief, trauma, etc. Additionally, I’ve worked in various settings such as education and community setting while providing preventative work.
I completed a Bilingual Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University Chicago with a concentration in Mental Health with a sub-specialization in Migration Studies. As a bilingual therapist, my goal is to close the gap within the Latinx, immigrant and refugee populations by providing them culturally responsive therapy. I look forward to being a part of your healing journey!
