ABOUT ME:
Are you searching for a change? The weight of yesterday may have been heavy, but today, you chose to commit to growth, self-exploration, and bringing past trauma to a resolution. Congratulations on choosing to focus on yourself, you deserve it! My goal is to cultivate a warm and safe space for you to water your own garden. Together, we will work at your pace to find peace, joy and a better understanding of yourself. I am here to encourage and gently challenge you to reach your goals and help you navigate life challenges.
I began my educational journey at Clark Atlanta University, where I studied Psychology and Criminal Justice. I later obtained a master's degree from The University of Chicago. Currently, I am preparing for my doctoral degree in forensic psychology.
My specialties include anger/irritability, anxiety, adjustments, borderline personality disorder, depression, grief/loss, play therapy, self-esteem, and family systems.
I am also passionate about working with people of color, children, couples (including non-monogamous relationships), the LGBTQIA2S+ community, law enforcement, and system/justice-impacted individuals.
Through a combination of couples/ family, individual, play, and sex therapy, it is my goal to give each client the therapeutic experience that they desire. Session times range between 30 minutes and 1 hour, and clients can choose to engage in either virtual or in-person sessions.
In my spare time, I enjoy attending church, engaging in community service, reading, traveling and spending time with my 2 Yorkies (Bentley and Gizmo) .
