ABOUT ME:
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to providing highly competent, compassionate therapeutic services to those managing the many challenges of life.
I specialize in working with those living with depression, anxiety, issues related to spirituality, survivors of trauma, and those in recovery from racism and other forms of oppression.
In addition to a Masters in Social Work (Loyola University Chicago School of Social Work), I also completed graduate studies in Christian Education at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary.
I have been an active member of the Planning Committee of the Naomi Ruth Cohen Institute (NRCI) since 2006. The Institute sponsors an annual mental health conference in early June for lay people and mental health professionals.
I actively partner with clients supporting them in the process of rewriting their narrative and becoming their best selves and live their best life. Together we explore how one’s family of origin creates the template or sets up the script for other relationships. We work together to determine the best strategy to accomplish the clients goals. The client is the author of their life.
I count it a privilege and an honor to support a client to rewrite their life script when often they are vulnerable.
I am a self-proclaimed foodie and I enjoy collecting speciality ingredients to stock my pantry and use them as I prepare new and adventurous meals for family and friends.
I am a Saint (no not literally), but a member of a volunteer professional usher organization that affords me the opportunity to see live theater all over Chicago and neighboring suburbs. I enjoy watching movies and predicting Oscar winners.
I work solely virtually and exclusively offer Telehealth services via Google Meets platform.
