Ask them what has worked and what has *not* worked in their therapy journey. Your time is valuable. You also have wisdom and intuition that will guide you about the ‘right fit’. Who you are… straight, transgender, bisexual, lesbian, gay, queer, genderqueer, questioning… is an essential part of our work together. I welcome your whole self, supporting traditional and non-traditional families: blended, multiracial, multigenerational, foster, poly, leather, and members of kink communities.
I provide a safe, warm, non-judgmental, and supportive environment to explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. Our work together will help develop new coping skills. Growth happens through reinforcing your values and strengths, increasing self-awareness, and building a tolerance for distress and ambiguity.
