ABOUT ME:
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Master’s from the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration in 2013. I am a therapist because I enjoy connecting with others and witnessing the healing process. The most important part of therapy is the relationship and I love creating that with my clients. I use a client-centered approach, to tailor the sessions to meet client’s needs and build on their strengths. You are the expert on your experience, not me. My role is to help you reflect on a journey through the issues impacting your life.
I have worked with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault as well as in community mental health. Most of my career has been in nonprofit settings but I joined IIPC in Spring of 2020. I specialize in trauma work and I am trained in EMDR but I tailor my approach to each client as we build our relationship. In my free time, I enjoy community and political organizing for progressive candidates and social justice issues in Chicago and Illinois.
