ABOUT ME:
I am the Regional Director for Southern Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri, overseeing a diverse team of clinicians dedicated to providing LGBTQIA+ affirming care. Our therapists utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including traditional talk therapy, EMDR, experiential therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), sandtray therapy, play therapy, expressive arts, somatic techniques, and client-centered approaches. I also provide training and supervision to support the growth and development of provisionally licensed clinicians.
As a psychotherapist, I offer mental health therapy and facilitate support groups for families and partners of gender-expansive individuals. I am trained in EMDR, a highly effective technique for processing PTSD, anxiety, depression, addictions, and panic. My areas of expertise include addictions, attachment challenges, sexual, physical, and emotional trauma, as well as distress associated with refugee resettlement.
I offer in-service training for agencies, medical professionals, and service providers on creating more culturally competent and LGBTQIA+ affirming practices.
