None of us like to feel “stuck”. Compassionate therapy can help to untangle issues that seem too complex and heavy to figure out by ourselves. A compassionate therapist is one who holds space and truly listens to clients with kindness and without judgment. But therapy requires more than listening. As a therapist, I hope to help you feel comfortable, confident, and empowered to grow and make the small changes that over time will lead to you discovering your most authentic path in life.
I have spent years working in Chicago as a lawyer helping clients who were dealing with difficult personal and family situations. From this experience, I have seen how effective therapy helps individuals cope with challenges that seem overwhelming in ways that are productive and healthy. I know that even the biggest problems can be broken into small pieces that are fixable and set in motion the dynamics for long term contentment.
