ABOUT ME:
Taking the first step into the world of therapy can feel daunting and overwhelming as it requires you to trust someone with your vulnerabilities and fears. This step also requires enormous strength. I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where I will work with you to achieve your goals and help create positive change in your life. While life may not feel hopeful now, we can work together to bring that hope back into your life.
My approach to therapy is straightforward, collaborative, goal-directed, and conversational. While we deal with serious topics, I believe there is space for laughter and humor in session. I believe that developing tools for you to use outside of session when life gets hard is as important as identifying the root cause of what’s causing difficulty.
I have been in your shoes before, I know how it feels to take the first step. I also know first-hand how much better life can get when you take that step. I am passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community, anxiety, depression, identity development, sexual concerns, relationship troubles, family issues and more.
